Marengo Itinerary:
Hey Band! This schedule is very similar to the U Of I Band Day Performance. Please plan on bringing a bag lunch to eat on the way to Marengo. Bring clothes for the entire day in your garment bag and bring money for concessions( cash/card).
9:15am Arrive, get into bibbers and show shirt.
9:30am Pack truck(Percussion)
10:15am PARENTS Pack snacks on mid bus.
10:30am Uniform inspection in Auditorium
10:45am Pack busses: NOTE all parade instruments will be stored on your assigned bus(just like the U of I trip)
Percussion/Guard Bus 3-Ky Boksa
WW Bus 2- Ms. Buralli
Brass Bus 1- Jason Kazin
EP Mid-bus-Mr. Scalf
11:15am Leave for Marengo(1:30pm ETA)
12:45pm Arrive at Marengo, find restrooms, unpack instruments-leave ALL cases on the bus. Busses then leave for field show location.
1:30pm Warm up for the parade
2:00pm Parade kicks off
2:30(ish) E.P steps off
(Parents @ H.S) Build field show props
3:30pm Parade Ends
3:45pm Group rests and get snacks from parents
4:45pm Uniform inspection-Leave for warm up
5:15pm Warm up Field
5:45pm Depart Warmup
6:00pm Field Show “Shockwave” Performance
6:15pm Pack truck
6:45pm Dress/Get dinner at concessions
7:15-8:15pm Watch show in visitor stands(Sit as a group)
8:30pm Drum Majors to track
8:45pm Awards
9:30pm Same busses, instruments on busses.
11:00pmish Arrive Home, bring instrument inside and help empty truck.
